Book Review - The Kite Runner

This author never fails to impress me by his words and the details of the scenario he puts forward. The Kite Runner is another heartwarming and emotional piece. The story is set in Kabul and is all about friendship, guilt and redemption. The best part I liked about this book is that there are a lot of Urdu/Farsi words in the dialogues which adds to the description of the culture he paints. Amir and Hassan are two boys in the story and their bond is very pure. Their childhood is described really well by mentioning various activities, Hassan's innocence, Amir's jealousy and insecurity, a walk to 'their place,' etc. For you a thousand times over - is a line from the book which had a lot of weight in it. It shows so much love and loyalty. I would rate this book 4.8/5 ⭐ Happy Reading!
