Book review -Tuesdays with Morrie

Image
Hello readers, I finally read the most-awaited book on my list— Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom. This memoir beautifully captures the relationship between a teacher and his student, enriched by their deep, meaningful conversations. The author, a sports journalist, reconnects with his former college professor, Morrie Schwartz, who has been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)  Every Tuesday, they meet to discuss life’s fundamental topics, ranging from love and forgiveness to marriage and death. Through these conversations, Morrie imparts invaluable lessons that extend far beyond their meetings, resonating with readers as well. Despite knowing his days are numbered, Morrie embraces death with wisdom and grace rather than fear or despair. His outlook on life and mortality is profoundly inspiring. Themes and Lessons: 🔹 The Importance of Human Connection – Morrie emphasizes that love and relationships bring true fulfillment. 🔹 Facing Mortality with Grace – Instea...

July 2015 was the first time I visited Riverdale for my junior college admission. I still remember it very clearly; it was an on-the-spot decision, and I didn't even search for it on Google. All the hill station feels! Riverdale had a dormitory system. Unity Dorm was my dorm, where junior college girls stayed. I had three roommates. And we had a single bed with a personal cupboard ...

It is a kind of curfew where people are supposed to stay at homes all the time and not come out. But have you noticed something? This has promoted family time in all the houses. Personally speaking, every night amidst the lockdown in city, my family is having a great time most importantly spending time together-playing different games everyday, listening to stories of the times when riots broke out in Mumbai and yes of course praying together for the betterment of the world. I even heard how people stayed wherever they were when the riots broke out in 1992. People even lost hope of their loved ones coming back home or meeting them again. But it's always overwhelming when you see them when there is no hope, it's a great feeling of satisfaction. And if we see what is happening today, people are not ready to stay home when they are getting...
