This is Aafrin Damani, writer behind all the posts you have been reading on this blog.

I am a UI/UX Designer by profession and apart from that I love writing, reading books, painting and my plants. 

Talking about this blog, i never really had a plan of starting a blog but during lockdown i started it when i was just exploring my hobbies. I have talked about this in my blog. 

On this blog you will a lot of things. I do not wish to restrict this blog to only a particular category. I want to write about various things. Like I have spoken about scenarios, I have written a poem and shared my reviews on books. 

You will see book reviews in future but also various other topics.

July 2015 was the first time I visited Riverdale for my junior college admission. I still remember it very clearly; it was an on-the-spot decision, and I didn't even search for it on Google. The right turn my cab took to enter the school—what I saw for the next few minutes was out of my imagination. A school on a massive hill. Like, seriously, is that possible? The Friendship Blueprint by Karim Padaniya is a book for young children to understand their true self and how to build true and lasting bonds with peers and close ones.  This book is written in a very simple and clear tone with interesting stories and examples. There are self reflective questions for the readers to enjoy the stories and to connect with their own self. Divided into 13chapters, each chapter addresses different topics which are important in the teenage years. A lot of advice on building good habits, managing your time with technology, handling peer pressure and all about your inner self and your passions is also talked in this book by the author. COVID-19

As the world is going through the major pandemic covid-19, many places are in lockdown mode! School, colleges, offices are also shut. It is a kind of curfew where people are supposed to stay at homes all the time and not come out. But have you noticed something? This has promoted family time in all the houses. Personally speaking, every night amidst the lockdown in city, my family is having a great time most importantly spending time together-playing different games everyday, listening to stories of the times when riots broke out in Mumbai and yes of course praying together for the betterment of the world. I even heard how people stayed wherever they were when the riots broke out in 1992. People even lost hope of their loved ones coming back home or meeting them again. But it's always overwhelming when you see them when there is no hope, it's a great feeling of satisfaction.
