MayTravels

How many times has it happened to you that when you really want to take a short trip somewhere, it just does not happen? But sometimes two trips in the same month take place.

What a long break, right?

The first trip was to Ahmedabad for a professional meeting, where I spent an extra day exploring the city.

From exploring the nightlife of the city, having the best tandoori momos, lunch at Chinese restaurant, and having Starbucks for the very first time, it was day out with my best friend.

The second trip was to Mumbai. I was excited for this trip because I was visiting Mumbai after 2 years. It was a 10-day trip that included attending a wedding, shopping, having the best food, and spending time with my family, especially my mom.

This time, Mumbai felt different. Every shopping place I visited took me back to the old times when I used to buy so much stuff just to secure the year until I visited again.

The roadside seekh paratha and the cake from Warden bakery are to die for. The pampering you get at Nani's place is the best.

I went to my favourite Seaside with my mom. It is one of my favourite places to visit, and since childhood I have been visiting there. This time, when I visited, the place had changed so much. There is a walkway developed on the other side, and it is a good 2–3 km walk. The residents who live behind the walkway are so lucky to witness the beautiful seaside sunset every single day. If I were living there, I would not go anywhere during the sunset period. That would be ME time for me.

The pani puri at my favourite restaurant is blast of the flavours in your mouth; you do not get such anywhere else.

The night drives in the city of dreams make you feel alive and refreshed.

In this world where people want big things in life, I live for the small moments in my life, which motivates me to work hard for my dreams.

Yes, it was a much-needed break from my routine life.

Breaks are really important as they re-energize you, motivates and inspires you in some or the other way and make you feel grateful for the things you have in your life

It is not necessary to go on trips to take a break, you can just take a day off and not think about your work.

Disconnect from work and technology inorder to connect with yourself and surroundings.
